This donation is available only to Canadian Registered Charities registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, Canadian nonprofits incorporated either provincially or at the federal level, and Canadian public libraries with a library symbol from Library and Archives Canada.
Donated products will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
Eligible organizations must have an annual operating budget, (total annual expenses), of less than $2 million (CAD.)
Each qualified organization is eligible for one order of Sumac CRM Standard or Sumac CRM Starter, subsequent renewals for Sumac CRM Standard are available through Silent Partner directly. Eligible organizations may renew Sumac Starter each year through TechSoup Canada.
Participating organizations must use Silent Partner products for their own charitable purposes and not sell, trade, barter, or auction any of the goods donated. Donated products cannot be used as door prizes or party favours, sold at auctions or in thrift stores, or otherwise distributed outside the organization's charitable purpose to the general public.
Organizations that advocate, support, or practise discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
Silent Partner Donation Program Information
Silent Partner has teamed with TechSoup Canada to offer its nonprofit Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software to nonprofits and public libraries. Organizations can use Sumac CRM to manage everything from contacts, donations and communications.
Eligible organizations may receive a donation of a one-time-only, one-year license of the Standard version of Sumac CRM or a one-year license of the starter version. They may renew the silver version annually, provided they continue to be eligible each year.
Current and former paid Silent Partner subscribers are not eligible for this program.
