Spotlight on TechSoup Courses: Office 365 Bootcamp

Microsoft Office is way more than Word and Excel. We designed this Office 365 Bootcamp course to help you to efficiently and effectively make the most of its extensive features, from the super popular ones to the hidden gems.

If you are a new user, this course will provide you with the skills and frameworks you need to start using the packages within Office 365 right away. If you have used Office 365 before, you will still be able to draw from the tips in the course and from the included Ask The Expert sessions to learn new tricks and enhance your tech skills.


What’s Covered in this Course?


This rich, self-paced course is composed of eight tracks. Learn more about them below!
 

  • Planner 101 - Effectively Organize Tasks: This module delves into a simple and visual way to organize teamwork to help you increase efficiency and effectiveness, with a focus on creating new plans, crafting detailed tasks, and setting up a seamless workflow to update work status transparently.

  • OneDrive 101 - Storing smartly: Through this module, you’ll learn how to be more efficient by simply storing, syncing, and sharing your organization's files in OneDrive, Microsoft’s file hosting service which allows you to upload files and folders securely access them anywhere from the cloud.

  • SharePoint 101 - Improving collaboration: SharePoint is a service offered in both Office 365 and Microsoft 365 that enables collaboration across your organization. With SharePoint, you can seamlessly share and manage content, knowledge, and applications. In this course, we primarily cover the basics of SharePoint Online, the cloud-based version of the program, so that your organization benefits from the double advantage of not needing to worry about hosting servers or managing storage space.

  • Outlook 101- Increase Efficiency: Many of us already use Outlook to send emails, but did you know that you can also use it to schedule meetings, set reminders, create and manage tasks and to-do lists? This module covers everything you need to know to maximize Outlook’s potential.

  • Ask the Expert - OneDrive: This learning session is a recording from a recent live event as well as course materials developed by our subject matter experts and instructional designers that will help you test your knowledge and hear answers to frequently asked questions. 

  • Ask the Expert- Planner: Are you already using Office 365 Planner, but not sure if you are using it to the full capacity? Did you know that Planner can be integrated with Teams? This session, recorded in June 2020 will show you how Planner can make your team work smarter. Our expert shared helpful tips and answered questions. In addition to the recording, you have access to the presentation deck, resources and the Q&A.

  • Ask the Expert - Sharepoint:  Do you have access to SharePoint, but aren't sure how to use it? Or are you using SharePoint, but want to know how to maximize this powerful tool? View our recording from the event with a SharePoint expert and valuable resources that you can immediately use with your organization.

  • Ask the Expert - Outlook: Do you use the search function in Outlook and want to learn how to have better and faster results? In this one-hour event recording, Outlook experts share tips on how to use different search functions in Outlook and answer questions submitted by nonprofits users like your.
