TechSoup Canada is a team of 11 people dedicated to empowering charities, nonprofits and libraries with the effective use of technology.
TechSoup Canada is a program of the Centre for Social Innovation, and a member of the TechSoup Global Network. Being a nonprofit ourselves, we understand all too well the challenges facing the Canadian nonprofit sector and we want to help. We can connect you to donated and discounted technologies through our technology donations program and provide valuable learning resources to equip you and your colleagues with technology tips and best practices.
We know that our sector is achieving great work and we believe we can have an even greater impact through the effective use of technology. Let us help you on your tech journey!
Technology Donations Program
Qualified charities, nonprofits and libraries can order donated and discounted software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Bitdefender Antivirus and more) for a very low administrative fee.
How is this possible? Through the generosity of our technology donor partners, such as Microsoft, Intuit, Adobe, and Cisco, and their commitment to help the nonprofit sector.
Ever wonder which technology solution is best for you? You're not alone.
We host webinars, write blogs, and share #NPtech content in our newsletters and on social media. Join the discussion on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn!
Putting the Soup in TechSoup Canada
Did we mention that we love soup? Every month we include a yummy soup recipe in our newsletter, By the Cup, so you can learn about technology and try amazing soups (and no, we’re not kidding).
The TechSoup Canada Recipe
TechSoup Canada was formed in 2009 as a collaborative effort of the Centre for Social Innovation, TechSoup and Technation. This initiative was made possible through a seed funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. We are grateful to all of our donor partners, community partners and supporters for helping us with our mission.
To date, TechSoup Canada has over 42,000 members and has helped the Canadian nonprofit sector save over $496 million on technology investments.
TechSoup provides the transformative technology solutions, the digital platforms, and the in-person experiences that enable people to work together toward a more equitable world. In collaboration with the TechSoup Global Network, TechSoup enables companies, foundations, and governments to connect their philanthropic resources with vetted NGOs globally
